Using mindfulness psychologically is a powerful means to examine and dismantle limiting beliefs and patterns, increase ability to live in the moment, as well as cultivate the ability to experience all emotions nonjudgmentally.

Psychology and medicine are evolving fields and current research continues to provide insights into the mind/body connection. Thus, a narrow focus on the psychological does not embrace the whole human being.  A holistic approach incorporates the interrelationship between emotions, thinking, behaviors and physical wellbeing. Awareness of all aspects of ourselves is key for optimal overall health and functioning, not just symptom reduction.
